John Ellis on Steinway Grand Piano + Special Guest

Our great friend and incredibly talented keyboard player with one of our most favourite bands, Baked A La Ska, is taking up The Copper Bar stage for a live show with very special guest musicians. John has played with everyone from The Cinematic Orchestra (a long time band member during TCO’s peak years in the early nineties), alongside the Zappa legend Ike Willis in The Muffin Men and performed or recorded with Corinne Bailey Rae, Tom Jones, Lily Allen, James Yorkston, John Squire (Stone Roses) and Honeyfeet amongst many others. Mainly though, John is a pianist beyond compere and a master and exponent of an incredibly diverse range of music, from jazz to soul and reggae; and during this live show he will be taking our beautiful Steinway Grand out for a spin on a journey throughout his diverse repertoire and featuring very special guests. Tickets are just £10 and include a £5 voucher that can be redeemed against pizza, cocktails and wine from our bar. If you are planning on visiting us for food we recommend arriving early as food service can be extremely busy and tables get snapped up fast!
