For nearly 3 decades, Matt & Phreds has established itself as the ultimate late night jazz club, quickly becoming the go-to after party during the festival period. Expect their signature, infectious and friendly energy, coupled with mjf’s very best live music and maybe even a slice of birthday cake… Tonight, the fantastic Honey Bee Jazz will be on stage 8-10:30pm - what a treat! For this extra special gig, HBJ will play popular jazz, in styles such as Swing, Ballad, and Bossa Nova, from the likes of Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, and Antonio Carlos Jobim, as well as jazz rearrangements of music from pop genres from the 1980’s til the 2020’s… Yep, this band has it all! So party on over after our free opening weekender at First Street and help us raise a glass to Manchester’s longest running music festival.
