The Amanda Jane Heywood Trio, formed from the Amanda Jane Heywood Band, play a vibrant mixture of Amanda's original songs and Blues, Soul and Rock influenced songs. The band is based in Manchester, Amanda is a regular contributor at Matt & Phreds Blues Jams. The band, in various formats have recently performed at The Manchester Blues Festival, The Great British Rhythm & Blues Festival, Colne Blue Society, Headlined Marbury Park Festival. The Bakers Vault review for Amanda was "The Voice isn't just heard, It's felt, here's to the Power, Grace and Soul of a woman who turns music into Magic" Expect energy and diversity in the music played, with extraordinary vocals and wonderful A Capella solos from Amanda.
