Lucas D & The Groove Ghetto are a 7-piece Soul and Funk outfit playing a hugely eclectic mix of music from awe-inspiring soul, to all-time classic disco, through to modern chart tracks given the Lucas D treatment. Fronted by Cat Davis, the band consists of a red-hot horn section (trumpet, flugelhorn, saxophone, and flute), some of the coolest keys, guitar and bass riffing and improvising out there, plus irresistible beats and rhythms coming from drums and percussion. Not only does this band have the perfect Saturday night setlist, they have the feel-good attitude sure to make you finish the night with a big smile.
