Apitos + Friends of BOTW

Kick off Band on the Wall’s 50th Birthday festivities with Apitos, the UK’s premier Latin jazz ensemble renowned for their vibrant tributes to Tito Puente and Poncho Sanchez. Regular performers at Band on the Wall from the 80’s until the early 2000s, Apitos also contributed to our education programs. Featuring Dave Hassell (timbales) and Andy Scott (saxophone), their dynamic percussion and horn section will set the stage ablaze. Following Apitos, enjoy performances in the Copper Bar from Friends of Band on the Wall, featuring Hopalong Gretzky, alongside venue regulars Emma Taylor and more, delivering soulful and eclectic sets.
