Leeds based saxophonist and composer Anna joins us again for Beat the Jams, this time with her own band. Anna’s thoughtful and inventive compositions are firm favourites of us at Beat the Jams and her quartet promises to be a unique rush hour busting treat! In this new collaberative project, four improvisers come together to explore original material. Drawing on a shared love of free form spontaneous composition and intricately arranged, technically demanding pieces, the ensemble presents a wide range of moods, textures and dynamics; Meaning each show unfolds with its own character, freshness, and sense of discovery.
