Manchester University Big Band (or MUBB) has been proudly bringing some of the best live big band jazz to the city and beyond since it was founded in 2004. Made up of fantastic and competitively auditioned student musicians, and this year under the outstanding direction of Jamie Marriott and Maddie Curry, MUBB promises high-energy and high-calibre performances. Today, you can expect an exciting and eclectic mix of big band music from Basie swingers to Latin bangers to modern experimental jazz, on what will surely be one of the band's most special and memorable gigs to date!
