Their sound is a powerful testament to unity, resilience, and the beauty of diversity. Kefaya Known for their high-energy live shows and virtuosic musicianship, Kefaya have performed around the world and supported the likes of Vieux Farke Touré, 47 Soul, Omar Souleyman and Hariprasad Chaurasia. They have performed at renowned festivals such as WOMAD, Latitude Festival, SXSW as well as numerous political events, such as Amnesty International HQ, Marxism Festival and fundraisers for asylum seekers, Palestinian rights and women’s rights organisations. The band have also collaborated individually with artists such as Cinematic Orchestra, Talvin Singh, Nubya Garcia, Submotion Orchestra and many more. ELAHA SOROOR London-based Elaha Soroor is a singer, songwriter and composer. Born to a Hazara family from Afghanistan in Iran, her journey began as a singer in a religious female music group in Iran. This foundation led her delved into Afghanistan’s traditional music and became a part of the Afghanistan National Orchestra from 2006 to 2008. Notably, she’s among the pioneering female performers to grace the Afghan stage after the fall of the Taliban in 2001.
