A favourite at Matt & Phreds for a number of years, this time Derrick is accompanied by two of the very best young players on the Jazz scene in the North of England - organist Martin Longhawn and drummer Steve Hanley. With a repertoire ranging from jazz standards and original compositions, this band reflects the influence of the great organ trios of the past and the present, such as the Wes Montgomery Trio and the more contemporary Larry Goldings Trio.
